“धियापूता” रउवा सबके सोझा बा, धिया पूता भोजपुरी समाज में बेटी बेटा के कहल जाला। बेटी के शुरुवै से कहल जाला कि पराया घरे जाये के बा।

घर के कवनों काम में चाहे पूजा पाठ में बेटी के महत्व कम हो जाला,जब पतोह आ जायेले, विशेषकर छठ पूजा में व्रत करे के अधिकार परंपरा से बहू के दीहल जाला । एह भोजपुरी लघु फिल्म के माध्यम से हमनी के कहल चाहत बानी जा की बेटी भी माई के व्रत के आगे ले जा सके ले ।

ओइसे त कानूनी तौर पर पिता के उत्तराधिकार में बेटी बराबर के हकदार बाड़ी। भावनात्मक रूप से माई से बेटी के जुड़ाव ढेर होखेला, लेकिन परंपरा में छठ पूजा के व्रत निभावे के उत्तराधिकार बहू के दीहल जाला।

लेकिन जरूरत पड़ला पर बेटी नईहर, सासुर दूनों घर के परंपरा के सँभार सकेले। अपना माई के छठव्रत भी ओकरा से लेके ओकरा खातिर पूरा कइ सकेले।

पूरा भोजपुरिया समाज से बिनती बा कि एह फिलिम के आपन सनेह दिहीं। देखीं..आ सभके देखाईं। “पूत अस धियवो दुलरिया..” के भाव-गंगा हर घर में बहे दीं।

“Dhiya Poota” means Daughter and Son in Bhojpuri. The name itself describes that Daughters are not less than Sons in any aspect. “Chhath Puja” is a very popular festival of India in which people pray to the Sun god both while setting as well as rising.

This short film give s a message that daughers can handle all the responsibilities like son including all rituals and festivals like “Chhath Puja” as well.

Chhath puja is belived to be a son oriented festival where a Mother can transfer her “Chhath Vrat” to her daugher in law only, and not to her daughter. But with this movie, we’ve tried to break this mindsets that a daugher can also do Chhath Puja for her Mother and her native.
